Date of event 19-20 May 2020 This work was a collaboration between the City of Ballarat, Hidden Lanes (Love Ballarat) and Federation University as a short notice response to the cancelling of the Ballarat heritage Festival due to Covid 19 lockdowns. To bring to life the personal experiences of Ballarat’s service men and women as commemorated on the Ballarat Avenue of honour. This involved extensive archival and access to personal records of surviving family members and archival sources held at historical societies, the National Library of Australia (Victoria), the Ballarat Gold Museum Sovereign Hill, the Geoffrey Blainey Collection and the Australian War Memorial. Format: web based, 8 episodes of 6-20 minutes in duration
