- Abstract
- 'Contained Worlds' Exhibition held at Dianne Tanzer Gallery, Melbourne, 13 September - 11 October 2008 This research focussed on various aspects of colonisation and the length early european settlers went to in imposing their own sense of order on the Australian landscape through the creation of their homes and gardens. Utilising a textile based process of cutting, piecing and stitching, the mapped representation of a given piece of land lost its original sense of meaning and was transformed offering multiple new readings.
