Proofs of global convergence are given for two variations of the algorithm. Convergence behavior is examined, and empirical distributions are compared to Boltzmann distributions. Parallel recombinative simulated annealing is amenable to straightforward implementation on SIMD, MIMD, or shared-memory machines.
