- Inside the study of Alfred Howitt's East Malvern home, Heanor. On the wall over the fire place, above some aboriginal implements, is an illuminated address presented to Howitt after the Burke and Wills expedition rescue. The small painting in the centre is a Gippsland scene painted by a member of the Howitt familly.; Item held by Gippsland and Regional Studies Collection, Federation University Australia.
