- Abstract
- A procession, including the band, is coming along the street, carrying the banner of the Amalgamated Miners Association of Victoria. Most of the buildings have been rebuilt after the 1888 fires. Visible are the shops of T.A. Heyward and C.H. Davis, and further up the street are the Mechanic's Institute, the Post Office, the Empire Hotel and the Catholic Church.; Item held by Gippsland and Regional Studies Collection, Federation University Australia.
