- Abstract
- Based on Malaysian parent and teacher agreement for ratings of their primary school-aged children on a scale comprising the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders- IV Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder symptoms, this study examined the prevalence rates of the three ADHD types. The prevalence rates for the Inattentive, Hyperactive-Impulsive, and Combined types were 0.96%, 0.32%, and 0.32%, respectively. For all types together, the male to female ratio was 4:1. © 2011 Elsevier B.V.
