Submitted for Me and my Toyota - curated exhibition, Toyota Community Spirit Gallery Port Melbourne, 16 June - 25 September This drawing depicted the Hoyts Drive In in Altona during the late 1970s. It investigated notions of nostalgia for a period of history in the western industrial suburbs of Melbourne, where owning a Toyota was the norm for many locals.

Submitted for 'The Substation exhibition' held at Newport. Melbourne, 21 August - 6th September, 2009 This body of work was a new and unique exploration into concept of the self and self worth. Furthermore it explored the labels we give ourselves and the mental baggage that we carry with each of these labels. The physical form of a hand held bag was the motif used in each of the 150 works. Each bag contained drawn images of different scenes and objects from my own personal history.

'Hatpin' choreographed by David Wynen, Helen MacPherson Smith Theatre, Ballarat, 25 June - 5 July 2009. The research component of this work involved collaborating with the artistic team within my role as choreographer. The Hatpin is a musical set at the turn of the twetieth century in Australia. This was a new interpretation of the work which for the first time involved choreography. Research relating to period design, costume and movement relevant to the period were developed. My research question relates to fulfilling criteria set out by the Director whilst supporting a project designed to replicate a professional working situation for the students involved whilst achieving the highest possible public outcomes. Original choreography was researched and presented within an original production.

Research background: Kerry Greenwood is an Australian novelist who has written a series of detective novels set in Victoria in the 1920's. Research contribution: This was a uniquely theatrical interpretation, involving storytelling theatre techniques using objects as well as dance and song of the twenties. No words were added to the script and much of the novel was spoken, inclusive of stage directions. Research significance: This was the first theatrical production of Murder on the Ballarat Train, adapted from the novel by the director Kim Durban with the permission of the author, and workshopped with the Graduate Acting company for its Australian premiere in the regional centre of Ballarat.

It involved video capture of the remaking of No/w/here? which was then edited and an audio recording layered on top. The outcome was then uploaded to a small screen device which was mounted in the gallery, alongside the work of others.
