Textile based installation work part of exhibition- Crossing Boundaries: Understanding Cultures through the Arts InSEA Asian Regional Arts Congress Woosuk Hall, Seoul University Gallery, Seoul, South Korea This investigation involved reconceptualising an existing work as a small-scale installation within a larger group exhibition associated with the INSEA conference and congress. Proposals for individual works were sought and peer reviewed prior to acceptance. The work was repaired, retitled and an additional component included to enable the work to perform as an individual installation.

'Contained Worlds' Exhibition held at Dianne Tanzer Gallery, Melbourne, 13 September - 11 October 2008 This research focussed on various aspects of colonisation and the length early european settlers went to in imposing their own sense of order on the Australian landscape through the creation of their homes and gardens. Long standing concerns with the history of women's handcrafts and the decorative arts was given emphasis in this body of work. Utilising a textile based process of cutting, piecing and stitching, the mapped representation of a given piece of land lost its original sense of meaning and was transformed offering multiple new readings.

Post DECO showcased the work of 67 Ballarat based artists in postcard sized works inspired or influenced by the Art Deco period. It comprised laser cut highly reflective panels attached to the steel fabric of a buildign in Federations Square. It was alternately backlit and front lit with coloured lights to convey a sense of drama reminiscent of Diwali Festival of Lights.
